Che'Nelle was born in Sabah, Malaysia to a Chinese father and Indian mother of Dutch heritage.
Living in Perth Australia, her father noticed her singing talent at age10.
She was discovered by Sir Charles Dixon who shared her video in MySpace with Virgin Record.
Virgin flew Che'Nelle to New York and Jason Flom signed her immediately.
Music labels currently includes EMI, Capitol and Universal.
