John Denver was considered one of the most accomplished acoustic artist of his time. In the course of his career, he released about 300 songs; 200 of which was composed by himself. He was a strong advocate for humanitarian & environmental issues like the homeless, the poor and the hungry as well as wildlife protection.
Sadly, he passed away at age 53, while piloting an experimental Rutan Long-EZ canard aircraft.
