Singapore is a garden city by design and years of laborious work by dedicated individuals. So we could enjoy its beauty, shades and the numerous benefits of trees for the environment. One way to express our gratitude and to protect our planet is to plant a few trees.

And support other plants around.
Trees have beautiful and diverse branches
That spread out in different directions
They provide homes and habitats
For many birds and insects.
Trees have green and vibrant leaves
That capture sunlight and make food
They also change colours with the seasons
And create lovely mood.
Trees and forest provide benefits
That make the earth a better place
They deserve our love and respect
And we should protect them with grace.
